Today is our first wedding anniversary. I’m in Colombia while Umberto is leading a normal life at home. We may be separated by time zones and geography, but are together in spirit. It’s time to celebrate!

The Caribbean island of San Andrés was almost left out of our Colombian tour itinerary. Luckily, I did include it in the end. It turned out to be our kind of a place.
